What is Quiz Call ?

Quiz Call is a live, interactive programme that gives you the chance to answer questions and win cash prizes from the comfort of your favourite armchair. The programmes are presenter led and consist of a series of quizzes and game shows where viewers contact the studio to compete for cash prizes.

When and where will Quiz Call be broadcast?

Quiz Call is broadcast simultaneously on Five and Five US on the following days:

• 00:00 to 04:30 every Thursday night
• 00:00 to 05:30 every Friday and Saturday night

The above times may vary.

How do I get to answer the quiz on air?

There are two ways to take part in Quiz Call.

Telephone Entry

On calling the Premium Rate Telephone Number you will pass through a selection mechanism. Depending on which game we are playing will depend on what will happen when you call. You may:
be put through to the programme to answer the quiz;

or

be asked to leave your name and contact number for a chance to be called back and put through to the programme. You will be asked to answer the Competition question on air if you are called back;

or

be notified that your entry has been unsuccessful.

It is important to note that all telephone calls are charged, whether you get to answer the quiz or not.

Web Entry

You can enter your details on the Enter page of this web site. You will then be issued with a PIN (personal identification number) and an access telephone number to call and enter the competition. The PIN can be retrieved up to 7 days in advance of the show you want to participate in (e.g. entries to the show on Thursday night can be registered for from Friday morning of the preceding week). Who can take part?

To take part in Quiz Call you must be 18 or over and a UK resident. See our terms and conditions for full details.

How much does it cost per call?

Calls are charged at 75p per call, from a BT landline. Calls from other networks may vary, mobiles will cost considerably more. You should contact your provider for this information. If you are not the bill payer please be sure to ask permission before calling Quiz Call.

I've not received my winnings

We endeavor to send all winning payments within 28 days of the competition.

My cheque hasn't cleared in my account yet

You should first check with your bank/building society to see if they are able to advise you when the funds will be cleared. If you require any further assistance please contact our customer care team.

My cheque is made out for the wrong amount

Please call our customer care team where they will be happy to investigate.

How do I contact the Customer Care team

You can call the Customer Care team on 0845 121 0567. The team is available from 11am to 5pm, Monday to Friday or alternatively you can email them at customerservices@quizcall.co.uk. Should you wish to write to them the address is Quizcall, PO Box 398, Teddington, Middlesex, TW11 9WN.

You will be charged the same amount for this call as you would for any other 0845 call - the precise amount is dependent upon the price plan you have with your telephone network operator. Calls provided by BT will be charged at up to 4 pence per minute during office hours. A set-up fee of up to 6 pence per call applies to calls from residential lines. Mobile and other providers' charges may vary.

I've just received my phone bill, and I didn't make these calls

You will need to raise this with your telephone provider as we do not have any billing information here. Please make sure you read the section on how the telephone system works so that you fully understand how calls are charged.

I don't want my phone to allow premium rate calls

You can arrange for your phone to not allow premium rate calls. To arrange this please call your telephone provider.

I don't understand how you get the answers to the quiz

The presenter will always clearly explain the game, the prize and how to get through to the studio. This will be repeated throughout the game.
